The actress was unhappy by the role she played in the movie Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. To improve her acting skills, she trained extremely hard and was featured in numerous low-budget films to show her talent. The perseverance and determination resulted in a successful outcome. She received recognition fame and favorable reviews for her role in the film Training Day after which her acting career took off.
