Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter in the flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko is who is a Muay Thai boxer started her fight sports career at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007 followed by a medal of bronze in 2008, and a gold medal with gold in 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thai Champion 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia launched her professional career back in 2003. She has taken home numerous awards, such as the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Championships Lion Fight Lightweight Championships, and WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas last at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won with a majority. Antonina Shevchenko set the professional MMA record in 2002 at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She won this fight via TKO after round two and her following two matches were staged at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to concentrate on her kickboxing and returned to the ring with Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa in a unanimously-decided match before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she resigned from the competition and began competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's superior strike skills enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Antonina's UFC contract was extended in the wake of this win. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight following her first fight via unanimity. Antonina returned to the ring after her loss and beat Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. The bout earned Antonina the Fight of the Night bonus. Shevchenko won her first three fights before losing her next three fights to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
