Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she was a performer at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with honors) in Theatre and Communications. She started her career in Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in more than 20 musicals and plays. They included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. In addition she played 7 main roles in LA's Storybook Theatre. Kelly also began landing TV and film roles as she continued her improv classes in The Groundlings. Her distinct voice and diminutive stature has allowed her to take on a wide variety of bright characters. She has worked with Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as evil Samara, but she is more well-known as the bright and bubbly receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a paralegal and party animal on TV Land's The Exes as a Series regular from 2011-2015. Additionally, she was a Regular in ABC Romantically Challenged where she was the charming sassy younger sister that is Alyssa Miano. Also, she played a suburban mother over-stressed on CW No Tomorrow. She sang soprano in various cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. In the last few years, she has been in the role of the slow but lovable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. She's married to two children and lives in a tranquil house. She likes to write or sew as well as volunteer in the school.
